Rowallan Park Primary School
Itec Nelson Mandela Bay is a proud sponsor of the U11,U12 and U13 netball teams from Rowallan Park Primary School in Port Elizabeth.
Mount Pleasant Vet
Itec Nelson Mandela Bay were proud sponsors of the pet vaccination drive held at Bay Pet, Feed, and Seed. A special thank you to Sharon Dunning Kemp and Domestic Animal Care – Port Elizabeth for trusting us with this important task. As a result of all the contributions, several dogs and cats were sterilised.
Ubomi Obutsa Centre
Itec Nelson Mandela Bay kicked off Ubomi Obutsa Centrer’s 2024 clothing clearout, by sponsoring a generous donation of clothing to underprivileged families.
Winter Woolly Drive 2024
Itec NMB gathered winter essentials for donation to various initiatives supported The Community Chest. The Community Chest is a non- profit organisation that has played a pivotal role in the welfare sector since 1952, and holds an annual winter drive that has become a cornerstone of support within the community. In a time of economic uncertainty that is threatening the stability of our country, Itec NMB is honoured to participate in this worthy cause, and be part of an initiative that uplifts our community.
Ubomi Obutsa Centre
The Ubomi Obutsa Centre (isiXhosa for New Life) supports families in need with a focus on helping them improve their lives together. An event was hosted in efforts to collect blankets adf donations to support the centre. Itec Nelson Mandela Bay proudly sponsored a table at the event, emphasising our commitment to local NPOs like Ubomi Obutsa. It was a remarkable evening dedicated to a noble cause.
Oosterland Child and Youth Care
Since 1980, Oosterland Child and Youth Care Centre has been a safe haven for vulnerable children from the Eastern Cape, offering a loving home and holistic developmental services. In July 2023, Itec Nelson Mandela Bay organised a charity drive to gather donations of clothes and toiletries for the children. Our staff and their families generously contributed and delivered the collected items to support the children at Oosterland.
